Taking the leap to travel to the big city of London to find like minded people I have since spent 10 years working in Design and Product teams across multiple projects with agencies and in-house clients from Fashion, Magazines, Beauty, Events and Banking.
One of my key traits is curiosity, the desire to learn more. It's utilising this actively I am highly driven when it comes to delving into unfamiliar territory.
Always start with understanding the problem and what is being asked of you. Understand key objectives, what we know about the assumed problem and having the right people involved.
Use data to inform, hypothesis what your assumptions are and test and learn. Adapt. Frameworks are guidelines not rigid structures to follow.
The fun and rewarding challenge of working with people that have little or a lot of working with design experience is bringing them on the journey and building excitement to finding solutions to business problems.
The best way to engage stakeholders is to listen and involve them at varying stages, which is important otherwise several months down the line you realise you missed out on key opportunities or limitations
From End to End projects to ad-hoc last minute UI updates/changes with a turn around time of 2 - 3 days or 6 - 9 month projects from Discovery of new product ideas right through to delivery of MVPs and iterations and testing.
I bring a lot of energy to a project and love to drive motivation and ambition. I thrive in independent and collaborative ways of working and I never shy from learning about new areas of business and other department's knowledge and expertise.
